Hi,

this scenario came into my mind when I was thinking about a scenario

to test the usability of TestProject (https://testproject.io/), an Application for Testautomation.

Of course you can use this scenario for every kind of evaluation, testing, ui-or-whatever-automation.

So what is the TestProject challenge?

Quality standards are designed to ensure companies meet the minimum requirements to become an integral part of almost every industry from food to automotive to healthcare. It’s clear that those standards are here indefinitely.

Some organizations struggle with the concepts of quality standards or they view it as a complex system. But with a little bit of information, help and a clear understanding of why quality standards can benefit them, organizations can learn to embrace quality standards rather than buck against them.

Because a friend of mine started to run an online magazine, I was interested in outsourcing the content writing to content producing business services, to freelancer.

So I started an experiment on the platform fiverr

• to see what we can get for a low bufget,
• how long it takes,
• and what the process is, what we have to provide to the seller.

I followed these steps:

• clarify achievements for myself
• do research for possible sellers and delimit to three sellers
• compare sellers and choose one

Development of a Testtool

Initial situation:

As a user of TestProject I wanted to have a mobile tool where I can get a quick overview about my nightly TestProject job runs and a first impression of job results e.g. whenever I go to work by public transport.

Because the website isn’t as responsive on my smartphone in the way I wish it would be, I decided  to develop an android app.

So I developed such an App! :-)

Ausgangssituation:

Bis vor kurzem (6 Monate zuvor) gab es einen Mitarbeiter zum Testing der Kernfunktionalitäten des Systems (Frontends & Backend) mittels des Windows .net Client. 
Nach Austritt dieses Mitarbeiters konnten Weiterentwicklungen der Applikation nicht, oder nur stark verzögert, ausgeliefert werden.
Daraufhin war die Position auszufüllen, mit zusätzlicher strategischer Ausrichtung um

• Der smarte Schutzhelm

  
  Vor kurzem wurden smarte Schutzhelme vorgestellt.
  So weiß man, ob die Helme auch tatsächlich getragen werden. Zudem erkennen sie Erschütterungen und Krafteinwirkungen. Bei einem Schlag oder Sturz kann so schnell Hilfe gerufen werden. An der Rückseite befindet sich ein SOS-Knopf, mit dem sofort ein Notruf abgesetzt werden kann.

• Ihre eigene Informationszentrale mit PRTG

  PRTG hat grundsätzlich drei Kernaufgaben:

  • Daten sammeln (und speichern/archivieren),

  A thing I noticed quite often, is that due to lack of a cloud-storage-strategy and data hygiene, the costs of cloud storage rises more than necessary.
